Mother's Day 3D Invention & Card Activity

This activity combines a Mother's Day card with student ideas for inventions that would make Mom's life easier. Students brainstorm about their moms' least favorite chores, then write cards and create paper robots from cube nets and rectangular prism nets to symbolize their inventions. Students practice geometry, writing, and thinking skills, while having fun and letting Mom know they pay attention, care, and appreciate them.
